Troubleshooting: Downloading Files
Please note: You do not need to download the files to your device. Your access to the streaming files does not expire. These players will work anytime you are connected to the internet, across all devices.
If you do not have any experience with downloading or viewing media files, you may want to work with the streaming files on your product page. If you would like to download files to your device, please see the guide below to help with the process.
Downloading PDF Files:
1) You will find the links to download PDF files in the right-hand bar on your course page. The easiest way to download the PDF is to right-click (or Ctrl+Click on a Mac) and select 'Save Link As', 'Save Target As', or 'Save As'.

2) Then, a popup will display that prompts you to select a location to save the file. We recommend saving the file directly to your Desktop. This will make accessing the file in the future very easy.

3) Once the file is downloaded to your Desktop, minimize all of the windows that you have open so that you are looking only at your Desktop. You will see a new icon on the Desktop. This is the icon that you will use to view the PDF file that you have just downloaded.

4) Double-click on the icon, and the PDF will open in your default program. You will need Adobe Reader to view the PDF file. Most computers come with this built in. If you do not have it, you can get it for free here.
5) If you are having any problems opening or viewing a PDF, we recommend opening up a new browser and starting this process from the beginning. The issue is almost always browser related. The best browser to use is Mozilla Firefox.
Downloading ZIP Files:
If you have very little computer experience, you may not want to utilize the ZIP method. Instead, you may want to download the files individually using the process described above.
If you feel comfortable with ZIP files, please read on.
1) You will find the links to download ZIP files in the right-hand bar on your course page. The easiest way to download the ZIP files is to right-click (or Ctrl+Click on a Mac) and select 'Save Link As', 'Save Target As', or 'Save As'.

IMPORTANT: Please note that you should only download ZIPs if you are on a desktop or laptop. Downloading ZIPs on a mobile device is very difficult and often times impossible.
2) Once you have selected 'Save As', a popup will display that prompts you to select a location to save the file. We recommend saving the file directly to your Desktop. This will make accessing the file in the future very easy.
3) Once the file is downloaded to your Desktop, minimize all of the windows that you have open so that you are looking only at your Desktop.

Please allow several minutes (up to an hour) for the individual file to download. Do not attempt to open the file until it is fully downloaded.
4) You will see a new icon on the Desktop. This is the icon that you will use to view the file that you have just downloaded.
5) Before accessing your files, you will need to unzip the content. You can do this by right-clicking on the icon and selecting "Extract All."

Please refer to this for more information on how to unzip a file.
6) Once you have unzipped the file contents, you can access your files using iTunes, Windows Media Player, VLC, or another preferred program.
7) If the files downloaded do not seem to work properly, we recommend that you re-download the ZIP file and make sure that you give the download enough time to finish downloading.
